The metal work on O Riabhaigh pipes is generally stainless steel.This material has many advantages and, for me, was an obvious choice.

Stainless is tough and hardwearing and it's finish will not deteorate over time. It won't scratch or dent nearly as easily as other metals.

The optional covers for the bag and bellows are made from top quality upholstery grade velvet to ensure long life. Currently we use both black and dark blue velvet.
